Trial and error sequencesMy final sequence |
The sequence of my imagesAfter taking my 20 images we were then tasked to narrow them down into our favourite 12. After choosing our best 12 we then printed them onto A5 sheets and fiddled with the layout until we came up with a sequence in which we liked. When given the task to put my images into a sequence I thought this would be easy. However I was proved wrong when I struggled to match images that I believed would look right and what order they should go in etc. It took several tries in order to get my final product in which I was happy with. Originally all my images were clumped together with then arranged in groups such as colours, nature, landscape etc. However the images seemed to blur together in their groups and not stand out which made it look quite boring. So I then decided to do the opposite and try and contrast the images that shared a page. An example was putting a bright landscape image with a dark yet vibrant coloured image, however this seemed to be too much of a contrast and didn’t look right. Although after several tried I seemed to find the perfect in between, some of my favourite images were given a double page spread to themselves whilst those who shared a page were different from one another yet still had similarities. I like my final result a lot as I think it makes each and every image stand out whilst also being in an order that makes it interesting. |
